FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How Much Will My Repair Cost?

Given that all repairs are different, it's difficult to give an exact price until we can see it and diagnose it properly.  However we believe in giving a client knowledge of all their options available.  Sometimes it is cheaper to replace the device than to repair it.  The vast majority of our repairs across all the devices we work on are typically below $400 with the exception of a few devices that have very expensive parts.

Do I need an appointment?

No.  We work on a first come first served basis.  Some types of repairs will take longer, however routine repairs like screens and batteries on mobile devices we try to get fixed and back out the door in an hour or less.

Do you warranty your work?

We offer a 30 day warranty on all our parts and labor against any defects and glitches not related to user damage.

ie liquid damage, drops, etc.

Do you charge a diagnostic or repair attempt fee?

Yes and No.  If we can identify a clear problem without needing to open the device or spend time looking for the problem, we do not.  However, if opening the device is needed to find the extent of the damage to get an accurate quote.   Or if a device ends up being nonfixable after we spend time working on it then our minimum bench fee ranges between $35-$50   Amps & Receivers have a $100 bench fee minimum due to the time invested for proper diagnosis.

Do you take credit Cards?

Yes.  We currently take most forms of payment like major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.  We can also send you an invoice and have you pay by secure portal.

Do you do house calls?

Unfortunately we are not set up with vehicles, mobile tools and employees necessary to offer in home diagnosis and repair services at this time.

Do you offer software, maleware, antivirus support on windows computers?  Ram and Hard Drive upgrades?

Our main focus is on the hardware repair.  At this time we are referring all software needs to a trusted 3rd Party Local Business who is better suited than we are on the software side of the computer world.

What types of Electronics do you work on?

Just about everything that uses electricity.  We have had successful repairs on computers, game consoles, tv's, smartwatches, DVD/VHS players, headphones, ipods, home stereo equipment, and even things like a massage chairs, lamps, appliance motherboards, vintage equipment like record players and 8 track players, reel to reel, projectors, drones, and many more than we can list here.  We are happy to assess any device you can fit thru our doors.
